E-Learning with Marble Training
An online course allows you to study the same qualification, from the comfort of your own home or office. There is no need to take time off work or travel out to a training centre, simply purchase the online course and study at a time and pace that suits you.
Tutor Support
Although the course is online, you will receive full support from an experience and IOSH approved trainer for the duration of the course. Communicate with your trainer via call, email or a 1:1 support meeting.
Course Outline
Managing Safely® is an internationally recognised and versatile health and safety qualification that is accredited by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
The course aims to provide you with an understanding of how to deal with health and safety issues within the workplace, and to make you aware of your health and safety responsibilities.
How Does E-Learning Work?
Our e-learning platform is user-friendly and approachable, while still retaining all of the vital information that is required to complete this qualification.
You can access our e-learning platform at any time and anywhere with an internet connection, so you can organise your studying to suit your schedule.
When you log on, you can resume from where you left off, and our built-in progress tracker makes it easy to see how close you are to your goal.
Course Content
The online IOSH Managing Safely course is comprised of seven modules:
Module 1: Introducing managing safely
Module 2: Assessing risks
Module 3: Controlling risks
Module 4: Understanding responsibilities
Module 5: Understanding hazards
Module 6: Investigating incidents
Module 7: Measuring Performance
Course Duration
The IOSH Managing Safely® E-learning is based on the 3-day classroom course. The time it will take to complete this e-learning is dependent on the time that you can attribute to your study.
It typically takes around 22 hours of study to complete, and as such is valid for 22 hours of Continued Professional Development (CPD). You will have access to your course for 6 months once activated.
Assessment
The assessment for this course is split into two parts, a multiple-choice knowledge assessment and a practical risk assessment.
The multiple-choice assessment is completed fully online, and your practical risk assessment can be carried out on your own workplace or any other agreed location and then uploaded to our e-learning platform.
